Women's Australian Travel League is a registered incorporated association, managed by an elected executive committee and dedicated to the following mission statement:
WATL is committed to providing a professional travel and tourism industry forum, based on national and global exchange of business, ideas and education, for members' personal and professional development.

To carry out this mission, there is a varied program of functions and events, that include meetings with guest speakers, seminars and training sessions, a monthly newsletter and the website. Regular functions are held every month, usually at lunch time but some are breakfast or evening functions.
