In the spirit of the season and with Christmas cheer, the band of "merry" WATL Santa's helpers worked tirelessly, together with Brenda Cahill, to bring members and guests together at the annual Christmas lunch at Parliament House on Wednesday, December 3, 2008.
In line with tradition for over 30 years, toys and a cheque donation was presented to Dr Foote from the Infants' Home Ashfield.
Our Guest Speaker Jodi McKay MP, NSW Minister for Tourism, provided an overview on the objectives and initiatives of th NSW Government on how best to support the Industry in these challenging times of the global financial crisis affecting all sectors of industry and community levels.
In closing, the "WATL Family" joined together in Christmas carolling reflective of the sentiment of the season and wishing blessings of joy, good health, happiness, family and friendship, and the fulfilment of the hopes we hold for the New Year 2009.
The Committee wishes you and yours a safe and Happy Christmas. We appreciate and thank you for your support over the past year and look forward to your participation throughout 2009.
